The Department of Master of Computer Applications (MCA) was established in the year 2007, started with an intake of 60 students. This course now offers with a duration of 2 years and seeks to prepare participants for high level careers in the everlasting field of Computer Applications. The students of MCA are motivated to take up research activities. This post graduate program provides a sound foundation to students in Computer Applications.

     The specialty of our program is to produce frontline developers in the area of Web Based Enterprise Solutions, Embedded Systems and Networking. Also, provides students industry interactions to visualize their future roles in the industry learning and employment opportunities. Apart from emphasizing on consistent and good academic performance, the department encourages participation in the co-curricular and extra-curricular activities to bring out the latent talents in them.

• To make students technologically superior and ethically strong and build them as professionals who will become the trend setters in the industry.

     The students of MCA course have got job opportunities in software companies like Oracle, Intel, Accenture, TCS, IBM, Wipro, Infosys, Honeywell, Mindtree, Tesco, Amazon, HCL, Sapience etc. The highest salary is about 8 lakhs and average around 3.87 lakhs.
